  • How long does it take to see progress?

    Everyone is different, but it usually takes about 4 weeks to start seeing gains and ~3 months to see noticeable progress. With many things, consistency and time is essential for seeing progress.

  • Do I need a gym membership or equipment?

    Nope! I can customize your strength training plan to accommodate whatever equipment you have access to and feel most comfortable with.

  • What is the difference between your Coaching and Counseling practices?

    Strength coaching is not mental health counseling; although we will check in about your mood and work to support your emotional well being, strength coaching is not a substitute for mental health support. This relationship revolves around utilizing strength training and movement to support your mental and emotional gains.

  • Do you offer weight loss coaching?

    If weight (fat) loss is your primary goal, I’m probably not the right fit for you! While building muscle and working out result in physique changes and fat loss, my primary goal as a strength training coach places the emphasis on your overall wellbeing, building your confidence, maintaining a stable mood, feeling regulated, and helping you get strong!

  • What if I don't know how to do a movement or what the proper form is?

    I can help provide resources and examples! You can also send me videos for me to check your form.

  • I'm a former or current mental health client, can I see you for strength coaching?

    Yes! It’s important to acknowledge that these are two distinct roles but I have created this to compliment and support mental health services.

  • Who do you work with?
