The Why:
Research supports movement and strength training as being an effective added treatment for managing mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, and more. Strength training can also help to build confidence, strengthen mind-body connection, improve sleep quality, and more..!
I got my personal training certification because I am passionate about helping women feel strong, empowered, confident, and resilient.
Building strength is not about shrinking yourself or fat loss (So if that's your main goal we might not be a good fit). I am all about women taking up whatever space they want or need in addition to honoring physique goals. I believe in a HAES approach (Health at Every Size) and continuously work to challenge my own biases and inner narrative around bodies, diet culture, and negative self-talk.

Big sister energy + education: I LOVE learning and am consistently educating myself on topics related to women’s health (e.g. neuroscience, hormone health, ADHD, PTSD, mood disorders, sleep, nutrition, and more..!)
